I had such a great experience at Ruumours! The food was absolutely delicious — my favourites were the coconut shrimp, asun, and plantain. Everything was full of flavour and cooked perfectly. I had an amazing experience at Ruumors Restaurant & Lounge! The ambiance is vibrant, the service is attentive, and the food is absolutely delicious. I ordered the pounded yam with efo riro, and it was perfectly made, the yam was smooth and soft, and the efo riro was rich and flavorful. I also had the suya, which was incredibly well-seasoned and had the perfect amount of spice. If you’re looking for authentic Afro-fusion Nigerian cuisine in Toronto, this is the spot! Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back.
I recently visited rumours and had an incredible experience. The atmosphere was fantastic , with a live DJ setting the perfect mood. Im still dreaming about my beef samosas & mains dish it was absolutely delicious, with flavours that truly impressed me!! The service was attentive, and the overall experience was a solid 9 out of 10. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for great food and a fun setting!
My friend & I had a great night out at Ruumours! The food was tasty and so flavourful. We loved the vibes here as it was spectacular with the dim lights & bar vibes. The interior was cute and there was a live DJ on Saturday. Not to mention their great cocktails to pair with their Ruumours platter. The chicken steak paired with their jollof rice & cole slaw was our favourite of the night.

Right from the entrance, vibes, decor, seating space, bar and food is eye catching and amazing. Great authentic flavours of fusion African food is right here in Toronto. I’m definitely going back for a great Afro DJ Night.
Ruumors Resto-Lounge is a vibrant Afro-fusion dining in Etobicoke. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff make you feel right at home. The menu features a variety of delicious dishes made with fresh ingredients, perfect for foodies and locals alike. Perfect for a night out with friends or a special occasion. They also gave DJ nights which adds to the positive vibes. We ordered “Ruumors Platter” to share as appetizer. Really loved the Beef Samosa and Grilled Chicken. Perfect for 4 people. We also ordered Chapman from their mocktail menu. For main, we ordered “Native Pasta”, “Lamb Chops with Jollof Rice”, “Ewa Agoyin with Plantain”, “Fried Plantain”, “Jollof Rice” and “Coleslaw”. Everything was tasty and fresh. Great seasoning and spices were used. The food is mostly spicy which I really enjoy.
1st time trying African cuisine. Food was so good!! Out of my expectation!! So flavorful and good use of spice. Love the chicken rice so much!!
